Western Australian Consolidated Regulations In these regulations,
unless the contrary intention appears —
Act means the Vocational Education and Training
Act 1996 ;
AQF Implementation handbook means the Australian
Qualifications Framework Implementation Handbook , Fourth Edition, 2007,
published by the Australian Qualifications Framework Advisory Board (ISBN
978-186366-644-2);
AQTF means the Australian Quality Training
Framework;
jurisdiction means WA and each jurisdiction listed
in regulation 5;
NTIS means the National Training Information
Service managed by the Commonwealth;
personal details —
(a) of
an individual, means his or her name, residential address and date of birth;
(b) of a
body corporate, means its name, the address of its principal place of business
and any identifying number it has under the law of the Commonwealth, a State
or a Territory;
registering body means —
(a) the
Council; or
(b) the
body responsible for registering training providers under a corresponding law;
WA means Western Australia;
working day means a day other than a Saturday, a
Sunday or a public holiday in Perth.
