1.       Citation


                  These regulations are the Volunteers (Protection from
       Liability) Regulations 2005.

2.       Extension of meaning of "community work" in the Act


                  For paragraph (k) of the definition of "community work"
       in section 3(1) of the Act, the following purposes are prescribed -
         (a)      the purpose of promoting the interests of an ethnic
             community;
         (b)      the purpose of promoting the interests of a religious
             community.
