WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND INJURY MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS 1982 - REG 19IA

19IA .         Guides for assessing degree of disability

        (1)         The first edition is prescribed for the purposes of the definition of AMA Guides in section 93CA of the Act.

        (2)         To the extent, if any, that neither section 93D(2)(a) nor (b) of the Act applies to the assessment of the degree of disability of a worker for the purposes of section 93E, the degree of disability is to be assessed in accordance with the American Medical Association’s Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (4 ^th Edition).
