Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) The Board may
direct the registrar to remove from the register the name of a person if the
Board is satisfied that —
(a) the
person has not practised architecture in the preceding period of 5 years
and has not maintained current knowledge and skills in architecture at a level
considered by the Board to be satisfactory; or
(b) a
qualification that enabled the person to be registered is withdrawn or
cancelled by the body that conferred the qualification.
(2) The Board must
not, under subsection (1), direct the removal of the name of a person
from the register unless the Board has —
(a)
given the person written notice of the Board’s intention to have the
name removed, stating the reasons for the proposed action and giving the
person 28 days after the notice is given to make written representations
to the Board concerning the proposed action; and
(b)
considered the representations received within that period.
