DUTIES ACT 2008 (NO. 11 OF 2008) - SECT 217

217 .         Insurers to be registered

        (1)         On becoming a general insurer, the insurer must apply to be registered under section 218.

        (2)         An application for registration must be made in the approved form on or before the 21 ^st day after the end of the month in which the insurer became a general insurer.

        Penalty: a fine of $20 000.
