                Energy Operators (Powers) Amendment Act 2006

                                No. 8 of 2006


An Act to amend the Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979 and to amend the Gas
Pipelines Access (Western Australia) Act 1998 consequentially.

                                                    [Assented to 5 May 2006]


The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.       Short title


                  This is the Energy Operators (Powers) Amendment Act 2006.



2.       Commencement


                  This Act comes into operation on the day on which it
       receives the Royal Assent.

3.       The Act amended


                  The amendment in section 4 is to the Energy Operators
       (Powers) Act 1979*.

4.       Section 55 repealed


                  Section 55 is repealed.

5.       Consequential amendment of the Gas Pipelines Access (Western
       Australia) Act 1998


                  Section 8(1)(a) of the Gas Pipelines Access (Western
       Australia) Act 1998* is deleted.
