Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) The power to
engage and manage the staff of the Commission is vested in the
General Manager.
(2) The power
conferred by subsection (1) does not preclude the delegation of any matter
under section 13.
(3) The remuneration
of and other terms and conditions of employment of staff are not to be less
favourable than is provided for in —
(a) an
applicable industrial award, order or agreement; or
(b) the
Minimum Conditions of Employment Act 1993 .
(4) Nothing in this
section affects the operation of the Workplace Agreements Act 1993 or
section 100 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 .
(5) Nothing in this
Act or in the Commission’s strategic development plan or statement of
corporate intent affects the Commission’s obligations to comply with
whole of government policies relating to industrial relations and human
resource management that apply generally to public sector bodies within the
meaning of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 .
