Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) In determining
whether disciplinary action should be taken against a registered
foreign lawyer, the Complaints Committee may take into account whether the
conduct of the registered foreign lawyer was consistent with the standards of
professional conduct of the legal profession in the lawyer’s foreign
place of registration.
(2) If the
Complaints Committee finds that a registered foreign lawyer is guilty of
unsatisfactory conduct it has, in addition to its powers under
section 177, the power to make an order imposing any conditions of a kind
referred to in section 106 on the registered foreign lawyer.
