Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) The Governor may
make regulations prescribing all matters that are required or permitted by
this Act to be prescribed, or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed,
for giving effect to the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1) the Governor may make regulations as to —
(a)
legal services provided by incorporated legal practices;
(b)
legal services provided by legal practitioner partners or employees of
multi-disciplinary partnerships;
(c)
legal services provided by registered foreign lawyers.
(3) The regulations
may create offences and may provide for a penalty not exceeding $5 000.
(4) A regulation
prevails over any inconsistent provision of the rules.
