Western Australian Numbered Acts[s.64]
(1) In
section 36A(1) of the Evidence Act 1906 *, in the definition of
“sexual offence”, by deleting paragraph (a) and inserting
instead the following paragraph —
“
(a) under section 186 or 191(1) of The Criminal
Code or section 7, 15, or 18 of the Prostitution Act 2000 ;
”.
(2) In Schedule 7
of the Evidence Act 1906* :
(a) in
Part A clause 1(a), by inserting after “Part B or C” the
following —
“
or a section of the Prostitution Act 2000 mentioned
in Part B
”;
(b) by
deleting Part B and inserting instead the following Part —

Section 59 of the
Police Act 1892 * is amended by deleting “and any common prostitute who
shall solicit, importune or accost any person or persons for the purpose of
prostitution, or loiter about for the purpose of prostitution in any street,
or place, or within the view or hearing of any person passing therein,”.

Section 195 of The
