PSYCHOLOGISTS ACT 2005 (NO. 28 OF 2005) - SECT 39

39 .         Voluntary removal from register and cancellation of registration

        (1)         A psychologist may, in writing, request the registrar to remove the name of that psychologist from the register and cancel the psychologist’s registration.

        (2)         Upon receipt of a request under subsection (1) the registrar is to refer the request to the Board and may, if the Board so approves, remove the name of the psychologist from the register and cancel the psychologist’s registration.

        (3)         This section does not apply to a psychologist who is the subject of proceedings under Part 5.
