Western Australian Numbered Acts The functions of the
Board are as follows —
(a) to
advise the Minister on matters to which this Act applies;
(b) to
administer the scheme of registration under Part 4;
(c) to
support and promote public education and research in relation to the practice
of psychology;
(d) to
monitor education in psychology, and provide advice on that education to the
Minister and to any other person or body involved in that education;
(e) to
promote and encourage —
(i)
the continuing education of psychologists in the practice
of psychology; and
(ii)
increased levels of skill, knowledge and competence in
the practice of psychology;
and
(f) to
perform other functions that are conferred on the Board under this Act or any
other Act.
