Seminar Details

Topic: The LawCite citator - Its potential uses, and some heuristics behind it
Speaker: Andrew Mowbray is Professor of Law and Information Technology at UTS and (with Graham Greenleaf) a co-founder of AustLII in 1995.
Duration: The seminar lasts for an hour, including 20 minutes for discussion.

Abstract

This seminar will cover the development, operation and future of the LawCite case citator. LawCite is an automatically generated international legal case and journal article citator. Currently, it contains over 4 million citation records of cases, law reform documents and journal articles. LawCite was built as part of a 3 year Australian Research Council (ARC) funded Linkage project.
