Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting subparagraph (vi) from paragraph (a) and substituting the following subparagraphs:

(vi) THHBTHS17A Observe and monitor people;

(vii) THHBFB09A Provide responsible service of alcohol; or

(b) by omitting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:

(b) a qualification or statement of attainment which includes the following competency standards in relation to the Asset Security Industry endorsed by the Australian National Training Authority:

(i) PRSS0202A Maintain workplace safety;

(ii) PRSS0204A Work as part of a team;

(iii) PRSS0206A Provide first aid;

(iv) PRSS0207A Respond to security risk situation;

(v) PRSS0210A Control access to and exit from premises;

(vi) PRSS0211A Monitor and control individual and crowd behaviour;

(vii) THHBFB09A Provide responsible service of alcohol.

These regulations amend the Crowd Controllers Regulations 2000 by revising the competency requirements prescribed for the purposes of sections 5 , 12 , 15 and 16 of the Crowd Controllers Act 1999 .
