Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting road sign No. 4 and road sign No. 5 from Part I;

(b) by inserting after road sign No. 15 in Part I, the following road signs:

White rectangle with black border and letters and red circle with black numerals

Road sign No 15B

White rectangle with black border and letters and black circle with black numerals

(c) by omitting road sign No. 24 from Part II and substituting the following road signs:

Road sign No 24

White rectangle with black circle and bar

OR

White rectangle with black border and letters and black circle with black numerals

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Traffic (General and Local) Regulations 1956 by –

(a) providing for stop signs and give way signs at railway level crossings; and

(b) introducing area speed limits; and

(c) prohibiting the use of devices that can detect laser speed analysers; and

(d) making miscellaneous amendments.
