REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976 - SECT 17AC
Definitions
17AC Definitions
(1) In this Division--
"dissolved club" , in relation to the amalgamation or proposed amalgamation of
2 or more registered clubs, means the club whose club licence is, or is to be,
transferred under section 60 of the Liquor Act 2007 to another
registered club.
"main premises" of a parent club means the premises that are, in the opinion
of the Authority, the main premises of the club.
"parent club" , in relation to the amalgamation or proposed amalgamation of 2
or more registered clubs, means the registered club to which the club licence
of another club is, or is to be, transferred under section 60 of the
Liquor Act 2007 .
(2) Before any 2 or more registered clubs amalgamate, the
parent club must, under its rules, establish the members of the dissolved club
as a separate class of members. Such members are to be identified by the
parent club as, and are referred to in this Division and in Division 1B as,
"the members of the dissolved club" .
