REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976 - SECT 32
Registered club to have only one secretary
(1) A registered club must at any time have one, but not more than one,
secretary who is to be the chief executive officer of the club. : Maximum
penalty--100 penalty units.
(2) The maximum number of secretaries of a
registered club is declared to be an excluded matter for the purposes of
section 5F of the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth in relation to
section 204A of that Act. Note--: This subsection ensures that section 204A
((Minimum number of secretaries) of the Corporations Act 2001 of the
Commonwealth will not apply in relation to the matter referred to in the
subsection. Section 5F of the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth
provides that if a State law declares a matter to be an excluded matter in
relation to a specified provision of that Act, then that provision will not
apply in relation to that matter in the State concerned.
