Appointment conditions and limit on powers
116 Appointment conditions and limit on powers
(1) An inspector holds office on any conditions stated in— (a) the
inspector’s instrument of appointment; or
(b) a signed notice given to the
inspector; or
(c) a regulation.
(2) Without limiting subsection (1) , the
instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the inspector or a
regulation may— (a) limit the inspector’s functions or powers under this
or another Act; or
(b) require the inspector to give the chief executive
stated information or a report about the performance of the inspector’s
functions or the exercise of the inspector’s powers.
(3) In this section—
"signed notice" means a notice signed by the chief executive.
