ANIMAL CARE AND PROTECTION ACT 2001 - SECT 75
Notice of proposed action
(1) The chief executive must give the person a notice stating each of the
following— (a) the action (the
"proposed action" ) the chief executive proposes to take under this
subdivision;
(b) the grounds for the proposed action;
(c) the facts and
circumstances that are the basis for the grounds;
(d) if the proposed action
is to amend registration details—the proposed amendment;
(e) if the
proposed action is to suspend the registration—the proposed suspension
period;
(f) that the holder may make, within a stated period, written
representations to show why the proposed action should not be taken.
(2) The
stated period must end at least 28 days after the holder is given the notice.
