ANIMAL CARE AND PROTECTION ACT 2001 - SECT 93N
Notice of proposed action
(1) This section applies if the chief executive believes a ground exists to
suspend or cancel an approved cattle procedures accreditation scheme.
(2) The
chief executive must give the holder of the approval a notice stating each of
the following— (a) the action (the
"proposed action" ) the chief executive proposes to take under this division;
(b) the grounds for the proposed action;
(c) the facts and circumstances that
are the basis for the grounds;
(d) if the proposed action is to suspend the
approval—the proposed suspension period of not longer than 2 years;
(e)
that the holder may make, within a stated period, written representations to
show why the proposed action should not be taken.
(3) The stated period must
not end less than 28 days after the holder is given the notice.
