ANIMAL CARE AND PROTECTION ACT 2001 - SECT 93A
Definitions for chapter
In this chapter—
"approval" , for a cattle procedures accreditation scheme, means the chief
executive’s approval of the scheme under section 93G .
"approved cattle procedures accreditation scheme" means a
cattle procedures accreditation scheme approved by the chief executive under
division 2 .
"cattle procedures accreditation scheme" see section 93B .
"owner" , of an approved cattle procedures accreditation scheme, means the
person who has the right to manage and administer the scheme.
"prescribed procedure" means— (a) spaying cattle using the Willis
dropped-ovary technique; or
(b) testing for pregnancy in cattle using— (i)
rectal palpation; or
(ii) transrectal ultrasound.
