(1) Where application
is made under this Part for a licence, the Minister must determine whether a
licence should be granted having regard to—
(a) the
suitability of the applicant to be granted the licence; and
(b) the
adequacy of the applicant's premises and facilities for the care and handling
of animals; and
(c) the
adequacy of arrangements made by the applicant for the provision of veterinary
attention to animals; and
(d) such
other matters as may be prescribed.
(2) On granting a
licence, the Minister must forward to the applicant a licence in the form
approved by the Minister.
