PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT 1979 - SECT 34C
Delegation
34C Delegation
(1) The Secretary may delegate the exercise of a function of
the Secretary under this Act, other than this power of delegation, to-- (a) a
person employed in the Department, or
(b) a person prescribed by the
regulations.
(2) The Departmental Chief Executive may delegate the exercise
of a function of the Departmental Chief Executive under this Act, other than
this power of delegation, to-- (a) another person employed in the Office of
Local Government, or
(b) a person prescribed by the regulations.
(3) In this
section--
"Departmental Chief Executive" has the same meaning as in the
Local Government Act 1993 .
