Power to require help to enter from person in control
134 Power to require help to enter from person in control
(1) If an inspector may, under this part, enter a vehicle, the inspector may
require (an
"entry requirement" ) the person in control of the vehicle to give the
inspector reasonable help to enter the vehicle. Example of an
entry requirement— The vehicle is locked. Its driver is present at the
vehicle and has a key to unlock it. An entry requirement may be given to the
driver to unlock the vehicle.
(2) When making the entry requirement, the
inspector must give the person an offence warning.
