34—Provision of information by medical practitioners
If the Minister is aware of a person (the "patient") who is or has been
diagnosed with or treated for cancer, the Minister may request a medical
practitioner involved in the patient's treatment or diagnosis of the cancer to
notify the Minister in writing of any information referred to in
regulation 32(2)(e) and (g) relating to the patient, as specified by the
Minister, that is known to the medical practitioner, and the medical
practitioner is authorised for the purposes of the Act or any other Act or law
to provide that information by virtue of this regulation.
